Day 8 (11th march) and 9 (12th march)

Day 8

We had the first chinese culture class. we were taught by one of the local lecturers of the university. they way that the lecturers teach are quite different from our local lectures teach. the students also learn in a whole different way too. the lecturers seem to continuously teach for hours on end without stopping. the students are also quite different from us. they seem to be constantly focused in class and dont seem to need brakes as the teachers never seem to give any.

Day 9

nothing much happened today. however, we have made a shocking discovery. my classmate and friend, Kenneth, has not been flushing the toilet. we come to this conclusion when i was washing my cloths in the toilet. the toilet sometimes smelt bad. it smelt like like as if someone didnt flush the toilet. as i was washing my cloths, i asked why the toilet always smelt so bad. Kenneth then suddenly said it was because he had just used it. then i asked if he had flushed. his answer made me burst into laughter. " is there a flush?" At least from now on, the toilet wont smell as bad anymore. I  cant believe that he had been not flushing for the past week.
